Astrid Nyborg Berg is a Norwegian classical guitarist, arranger and composer as well as a founding board member of Malmö Gitarrforum. Her specialization in guitar instrumentation started through her master thesis in arranging from the guitar (Lund University 2021). After many collaborations with composers, hosting several composition contests and composing a catalogue of classical guitar pieces herself, she has now collected her insight in the ebook “How to Compose for the Guitar - without actually touching a guitar”. The ebook is published in order to provide guidance to the participants of Malmö Gitarrforum’s third international composition contest.
